What do you need today?

What then shall we say in response to these wonderful things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

Romans 8:31-32

I was thinking about the fact that God didn’t spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all – what a humbling gift to receive – one that shows us the depths of His great love for us. Just amazing.

As I continued to ponder, I found it funny how Paul worded this next part as a question – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? It’s as if Paul is saying, why would God withhold anything we need since He’s already given us the best of the best He could give – His Son. Everything else He gives us is inferior to Jesus. If He didn’t withhold Jesus, why would He withhold anything else that we need? WOW! I stand amazed at God’s desire to graciously give us all things – whatever we need.

May you know God’s open hands, willing to graciously give us all things, and may you be rested in His awesome love for you.
