Feast upon Jesus, the Word

What have you been feasting on today and what do you plan to feast upon tomorrow and the next day?

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Luke 2:7

Do you see that? Jesus was brought forth into this world and laid in a manger, a feeding trough!

Are you feasting on Jesus the literal Word of God made flesh? It is no wonder Jesus said in John 6:63 – “It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” It is no wonder His body and blood were made the symbols of the Communion/Eucharist and that we are to consume them in remembrance of Him.

The verses from these posts are meant to be feasted upon. Jesus and His words of life are meant to be consumed over and over as if they were your favorite meal during the Holidays.

He is not a baby in a manger anymore, He is not a broken man on a cross, He didn’t stay in the grave, and He is not staying in heaven forever. Take time right now and every day to come to feast upon the life of the Word Jesus Christ of Nazareth and watch the power of God unfold and be unleashed to work for you in every area of life.

May you be FULL on Christ as you feast upon His incorruptible nutrition!
