Accept His provision by Faith today!
but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it;
Encouragement verses are great, but how do you really put them to use in your life situation and benefit from the wisdom, love, grace, mercy, and goodness found in them?
Hoping that God reaches down into our lives and applies the principles and truths in these verses FOR US hasn’t gotten us very far in the last century. When is the last time you saw God the Father come down out of heaven and do something for us in the way of blessing? He works IN us to produce His will and to do of His good pleasure THROUGH us(Philippians 2:13)! We must hear the goodness and provision of God in these truths and count them as more important than anything we might see. We are to walk by faith and not by sight(2 Corinthians 5:7).
When we take the verses in this encouragement section I have been sharing and risk leaning our entire person hood in absolute trust and confidence in His ability to establish the outcome these verses say is possible in our every day lives we give Him something to work with. When we zealously stand firm and stare the circumstances of our lives in the face and say, “I am not budging in Jesus name, I am blessed and kept, I am provided for, and you circumstance are defeated, over, and I triumph in Jesus name!”, we align ourselves with His will and CAN expect the outcome we see in them.
Stand and be firm, learn to be patient and REST in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. REST in the fact that He will provide if we will just trust beyond all senses and common understandings; until we receive His outcome in our circumstances.
I encourage you today to mix these truths with faith, which is speaking the authority of God and His will and opinion into any situation, with the assured and confident trust and patience that watches Him deliver you completely!
