My Unbelief

Matthew 17 19Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 19 26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Mark 923Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Rethink possible.  Confront your unbelief, and deal with it.  Search it out.  See deep inside of yourself and find where you have placed limits on God.

Your experiences, your senses, the media, the unsaved.  All of these are working together to instill in you a sense of unbelief. They are conspiring to kill your faith, to destroy it entirely.  All of these work hand in hand to snatch your gaze from the risen Christ, in whom all things are possible, and make you look at man with whom nothing is possible.

Limit your limits.  Before it could be done, it couldn’t.  Before it was, it wasn’t.  But belief doesn’t look at what is.  It looks at what isn’t and speaks life and takes action to change it.

Grasp the Word tightly, white-knuckled and teeth bared, as thought it is your life line is a raging sea.  Because it is.  Cry out to Jesus, saying “I believe! Help my unbelief!”
