Philemon 1:4I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, 5Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; 6That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
2 Peter 12Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
What’s inside? That is a great question isn’t it. It is a question we face everyday, as we face seemingly insurmountable situations.
My fear brothers and sisters, is that we will one day enter into Glory and open our packages, only to discover how we went through this life scraping by, fighting for any break, when everything we needed was inside of us all along. And how the tears will flow when we see how deceived we were into being so utterly powerless and dominated by the enemy.
Open the Word with expectation, knowing that you will see Christ, and in seeing Christ, you will see yourself. Every good thing is in you in Christ. Acknowledge it and partake of the divine nature.
